The international tentet, with guests from Australia, Japan, New Zealand and Argentina, as well as the current WDR Jazz Prize winners 2020, was celebrated as newcomer of the year at the Moers Festival - that's how "Musik 2020" sounds: Melodic - avant-garde - ultramodern... and yet accessible - an aesthetic delight.

Starting from very familiar sounds, the essential anatomy of music is carefully dissected and reassembled again and again in an exploding orchestral diversity in unheard-of constellations. States Of Play' creates an incredibly complex and iridescent music, which is constantly evolving in an organic flow and constantly reinventing itself in real time. The sound of a well-balanced emotional and intellectual balance - carried by an extraordinary team play.

The 10 members of the international tentet create a unique evening in 4 smaller formations: Pure joy of playing - with lots of room for rhythm, melody and improvisation. The occasion of their Germany tour is the release of their celebrated new album "SUBSONIC".
