((( STREAM ))) NICA live: Laura Totenhagen presents "Percussion"

„NICA live“ ist fester Bestandteil des Konzertangebots im „Green Room“. Sobald wir diesen wieder öffnen können, werden wir dort jeden Montag ab 20.00 Uhr die NICA Artists mit ihren musikalischen Ideen und Visionen live vor Publikum präsentieren. Bis dahin streamen wir das Format aus dem Konzertsaal.

NICA artist Laura Totenhagen has chosen the band "Percussion" for "NICA live": "I was totally excited when Felix first told me about 'Percussion', so I really wanted to feature this formation in the 'NICA live' series. I think their approach is unique, innovative, exciting and very brave," Totenhagen said. Felix Hauptmann is a member of her band Totenhagen.

"Percussion are the musicians Felix Hauptmann, Roger Kintopf, and Leif Berger. They are connected by a common aesthetic feeling: They create sound worlds based on complex rhythmic structures and improvised cells. Pianist Felix Hauptmann has developed a unique language within improvisation and composition that gives the audience a communicative and fresh access to the collective improvisational culture of this band.
