2ersitz

The indie pop band from Leipzig locked themselves in the studio for a while and worked on new music - almost a new style. Now everything is new, but still sounds familiar and, above all, like the best music the four musicians from Leipzig have ever written. We can already reveal: They have been and are working on an album.
The honesty with which the four friends from Leipzig take to the stage has become a rarity in the German pop landscape. With their live performances all over Germany, 2ersitz has now built up a steadily growing fan base. Singer Joke's lyrics oscillate between the ideal world, political upheaval and emotional turmoil, and he has found his very own language for this. Between guitar, bass and drums, a surprisingly versatile world of sound opens up, which can sometimes be silly and funny, sometimes very intimate and personal or simply fast, loud and cheerful. 2ersitz have already won several awards for their music - most recently the Rio Reiser Prize and Udo Lindenberg's Panic Prize.
