AB Syndrom

The song Flaggschiff kicked off AB Syndrom's rise to fame in 2017, with which the band achieved their first radio airplay and now more than 2.5 million streams on Spotify.
The Berlin musicians have been completely DIY and polarizing right from the start. This means that everything from the entire music production and artwork to the music videos is consistently produced in-house and released on the self-founded indie label. And this consistency is
audible and tangible.
The focus on the personal also characterizes AB Syndrom's live shows.
All they have on stage is Anton's drum set with pads and a keyboard, with which the duo adapts the electronic sound of the album for the stage. Everything is created in the moment: no backing tracks, no lifeless show to a pre-recorded tape.

Since Flaggschiff, the band has had an intense time: 2019 on tour with Mine through Germany, Switzerland and Austria, followed shortly afterwards by concerts in Vietnam, Hong Kong and Manila. 2020 Frontalcrash album release in the Corona lockdown and subsequent streaming concerts, including
at DLF Nova and c/o pop from a huge former cogeneration plant.
2022 then post-Corona restart: with the album Tut mir gut Tut mir Leid they generated radio airplay throughout Germany and went on their first headlining tour through 7 cities in winter 2022-23 - including a live concert at radioeins. In 2024/25, AB Syndrom reached Germany-wide rotations with the album Implosion and features with Trille, Roger Reckless, Futurebae and Mine and played at the Fusion Festival in front of 2500 people, at the RadioEins Parkfest and on their subsequent German tour through 9 cities.
AB Syndrom have established themselves as a fusion of experimental electronic sounds and ultra-personal German lyrics. They will be touring with their new album in fall 2026.
