Gumbo, the heavily spiced national dish from New Orleans in this case is an exotic mixture of close harmony singing, hot swing and Latin American and New Orleans grooves. For this dream, the Belgian singer Eva Buchmann, who lives in Cologne, specifically looked for her favourite musicians* from the Cologne jazz scene: an enchanting soprano (Lisa Kühnemann), a singing saxophonist (Martin Gasser), an all-rounder on the guitar (Johannes Behr), an extremely imaginative double bass player (Jakob Kühnemann) and the hot swing master on the drums (Silvio Morger). Together they guarantee heartwarming entertainment and the ideal roux for "Eva Buchmann's Gumbo".
