CANCELLED: Margaret Glaspy
Due to the Corona Pandemic, the event unfortunately has to be cancelled. Already purchased tickets can be returned to the place where they were bought.
The singer-songwriter, who lives in Brooklyn, New York, released her long-awaited second album "Devotion" on March 27, with which she will also be coming to Cologne, Munich, Berlin and Hamburg in September.
The last time Margaret Glaspy was seen live in Germany was in 2016. Since then she has toured for almost three years with her debut album "Emotions and Math", which was released in the same year, and the 2018 EP "Born Yesterday". On her second work she developed away from bluesy folk sound and presents poppy, rhythmically captivating melodies, lush arrangements and haunting electronic accents, combined with her astute songwriting. It's no longer mainly about being self-righteous or omniscient, but about being open to love, even if you don't know what's going on.
Glaspy has already toured North America, Europe, China and Australia and also accompanied bands like The Lumineers or, in this country, BOY as support and convinced with their emotional and inspiring shows. In late summer, the artist will return to Germany after four years.
An event organized by Concertteam NRW.
