British-Ghanaian-German-Russian artist Henrietta Smith-Rolla has unceremoniously shortened her impressive pedigree to manageable lengths and made it her stage name. As AFRODEUTSCHE she is highly traded in the clubs of the worldwide electro metropolises. She shares her gig in Cologne with an act that was one of her early idols, Dopplereffekt from Detroit. The duo likes to associate their releases with physical theories and phenomena.
"Myon-Neutrino/Z-Boson" or "Linear Accelerator", sound dry and academic, but reliably get the masses moving on the dancefloor. The hypnotic sounds to abstract graphic visuals have been considered style-setting in the scene since the 1990s. And Viola Klein? No need for an introduction in Cologne. Her sets in the local hotspots are legendary, very jazzy over organic pulsating beats, also very sensitive in atmospherically adjusting her own setting to preceding and/or following acts. She won't just add to the evening, she will complete it.
