30 years ago the NYC born singer Amy Antin left her hometown and moved to Cologne. For a year -- or so she thought -- about living in and from her songs. Now countless concerts, hundreds of songs and lyrics, 5 albums (Herzog Records/ Hamburg and Meyer Records/ Cologne) and some chart hits later she presents us her journey, with a few visual concert sections, a brilliant live band, a small group of hand-picked guests and of course - her extraordinary songs.

Antin is precise in the anatomy of emotions, she uncovers the hidden and reduces knowledge to a single sentence. Language unites poetry and everyday life. Her wavering between self-assertive hope and real existing despair creates a tension that is only bearable because it comes in the form of wonderful melodies.
