Green Session: For "NICA live" in the Green Room, Sonae and Gregor Schwellenbach are developing a joint evening in which they will be on stage together for the first time. The two know each other from their time together at the IFPOM of the Folkwang University of the Arts. Since then, they have been involved in several music projects, and Schwellenbach can also be heard on two of Sonae's albums.

Sonae is a producer, performing artist and DJ of experimental electronic music, she is also part of the label collective Monika Werkstatt. Her music appears on Monika Enterprise, l a p s and other labels. Sonae is concerned with the formulation of artistic concepts beyond electronic music.

Gregor Schwellenbach works in the border area between pop culture and classical tradition. He writes music for film and television and arranges for Irmon Schmidt (Can), Lambchop, Megaloh, Maxim, Kölsch or the WDR Funkhausorchester. His chamber music tribute for the Kompakt label won the VIA Indie Award for "Best Experiment" in 2014. With a new recording of Steve Reich's "Six Pianos" he plays together with Hauschka, Brandt Brauer Frick, John Kameel Farah and the Grandbrothers among others the Berlin and Cologne Philharmonic and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg.
