Bachelorkonzert: Simon Bremen

At the end of his studies, which he is completing in Cologne after stops in Stuttgart and Helsinki, saxophonist Simon Bremen is presenting a new band that combines precisely the two aspects that have interested and shaped him to the same extent from the very beginning: Improvisation and composition. Previously active mainly with his quartet or quintet and larger ensembles, the saxophone trio has secretly been one of his favorite constellations for a long time. For the first time, he is writing his own material for it and appears as the initiator of this intimate and transparent line-up, supplemented in some pieces by the trombone to form a quartet. He has sought out musicians with whom he shares a friendship as well as mutual personal and musical inspiration, which will be felt and experienced by everyone on and off stage on this emotionally significant evening.
