The story of songwriter and performer BC Camplight (Brian Christinzio) is one of determination and redemption. Originally from Philadelphia, the multi-instrumentalist moved to Manchester in 2013 to reinvigorate his creativity after a long period of failing mental health due to drug and alcohol addiction. Immediately after the release of the 2015 album "How to Die In The North" (Bella Union), Christinzio was deported from the UK. He managed to return as an Italian citizen, releasing a string of music that has made him one of the country's most critically acclaimed artists. His last two albums have been described as "masterpieces" by the Guardian and the Sunday Times respectively. BC Camplight is an artist on the rise and his time has come.

Christinzio's album "The Last Rotation Of Earth" from 2023 earned him his first Top 40 record. The subsequent tours brought his breathtaking live shows to a wider audience. The tour culminated in his television debut with an appearance on Later! With Jools Holland.
