Daisy Grow Yellow are singer-songwriter Corinne Bahia, drummer Jakob Krickeberg and bassist Helge Klein. First as Corinne Bahia & Band, the three decided to play together as a band while working on their first EP.
The songs of the band are about an indestructible existence: not to let the troubles in life get the better of you. To be human means to find the inner light - but this is not possible without moments of rage, despair and the experience of rebounds. "We will go through all that scrapes and cuts to find what's true." (Hurts)

In the second single "About Me" singer Bahia in duo with Bukahara front singer Soufian Zoghlami sings about different identities within one person. Bahia herself comes from an Afro-American family, raised in a largely white society, and now lives in Europe, where people have a very different view of race. The questions "Where do you come from?", "What are you?" can no longer be answered clearly, and yet clear answers are usually expected: "Is the answer ever anything other than human?". (About Me)
