An evening with four Danish bands, who each bring very individual approaches to Cologne. Nanna Bech is considered Scandinavia's most exciting new voice and combines Nordic melancholy and dark Americana to mysterious Folk Noir. Pianist Kathrine Windfeld inspires with her Modern Big Band Sound, Dawda Jobarteh as award-winning songwriter transfers musical traditions of West Africa and Scandinavia into the modern age and as a master of elegant harmonies vibraphonist Martin Fabricius and his trio carry off into a sound universe full of typical character traits of Scandinavian music.
