Gard Nilssen's Acoustic Unity is the sound of the chaotic, curious and sleepless mind of a Norwegian drummer and his friends coming together in a completely open musical environment with no genre restrictions.
Formed in 2015, Acoustic Unity has since played over 250 concerts around the world, released six critically acclaimed albums, played with Joshua Redman and Ambrose Akinmusire and made a name for themselves as a great live band.
Recently Signe Emmeluth, Eirik Hegdal<7b> and Kjetil Møster have joined the band, and with their brand new album "Great Intentions", the quintet is now very much looking forward to touring some of their favorite festivals and clubs in Europe - including, of course, the Stadtgarten Köln.
