Graham Lambkin, Áine O’Dwyer, Astor – reiheM präsentiert: 3 Solos & 1 Trio

Sonic serendipities? Second order music? Three solos and a trio - a series of evenings with experimental situational music from London.

A deep friendship connects the musicians and performers from London who at first glance seem so unequal: the Irish folk harpist and church organist Áine O'Dwyer, the English tape musician Graham Lambkin, with socialisation in the uncompromising post-hardcore scene of his band The Shadow Ring (1993-2003) and the Australian experimental electronic musician and operator of the avant-garde label "Penultimate Press", Mark Harwood aka Astor.

What they have in common is their interest in process-oriented play with objects and their surroundings, in which the unforeseen and social can appear as an aesthetic form. The concert is organized by "reiheM - Konzertreihe für Gegenwartsmusik, Elektronik und neue Medien, Köln" in cooperation with "PIK - Projektraum im KunstWerk, Köln" and the independent Cologne event series "plant".
