With her last album "Lonely Dancer", jazz singer Hannah Köpf gave us a cycle of songs that tied in with folk and singer-songwriters. There was also gospel to be heard and a resemblance to Americana, a country and soul related style from America, still little known in this country. With her next album, which will be released by GLM in March 2019, the musical journey of the Cologne-based artist goes even further in this direction, which is reflected in both the studio and live line-up of her band. She reaches more into the keys herself, plucks the guitar and uses the polyphonic male choir of her musicians as a basis to tell her stories in the form of songs. The cellist and fiddler Nathan Bontrager completes the circle in terms of melancholy and inviting fiddle solos.

On this evening the band presents a mixture of old songs in new splendour and brand new songs from the new album.
