It is difficult to measure how many beaming faces JAMARAM has been responsible for in 22 years of band history. With their average of 100 concerts per year, the number of singing mouths, dancing legs and raised hands in the audience probably runs into the hundreds of thousands. The fact that the Munich band, which has played half the world over the past two decades, is not yet rusty despite or perhaps because of their longevity, but rather has just warmed up, is now finally audible again on record to celebrate their milestone birthday.
"20 Years Live" presents live recordings of the 16 most popular JAMARAM songs of all time, bringing the atmosphere of the best shows of the past two years directly into our living rooms. On top of that, between evergreens like "Rainmaker", "La Famille" or "Come Around", there's the previously unreleased uptempo ska number "Cats Come Out" as a single for your ears.
If listening to the live record is not enough and if you are longing for the true and holistic JAMARAM live experience, you should come to the Stadtgarten in Cologne on December 30, 2022. Also on stage in 2022 will be the longtime companion JAHCOUSTIX, so much is already revealed. If you want to know what else is going on that night and don't want to miss what might be the hottest live concert of the year, you should definitely come in person.
