The quartet around baritone saxophonist Marcus Bartelt, known and present on the German and international jazz scene for many years as an outstanding representative of his instrument, primarily plays compositions by the band leader, occasionally supplemented by more obscure standards and found pieces from jazz history in often unusual arrangements.
