Jazz at Green Room: Song Yi Jeon & Vinicius Gomes

South Korean, Swiss-based singer Song Yi Jeon and Brazilian-born, New York-based guitarist Vinicius Gomes form a duo that is about interaction, storytelling, communication and exploration.

They released their first album together, "HOME," last November on "Greenleaf Music." The strength of their music together comes, among other things, from the meeting of two people with completely different backgrounds and life stories, who show that even if you come from opposite directions, you can meet at a common point: The joint interaction, improvisation and finding a common aesthetic sensibility bears witness to this. The journey documented on "Home" has helped the two musicians to understand the meaning of the word home, the values associated with it for them, on an individual level and to find strength in it.
