KOPPEL COLLEY BLADE COLLECTIVE
KCB COLLECTIVE is the name of an all-star trio consisting of three of the most sought-after, versatile and top-notch jazz musicians on the scene today. They have collaborated with the who's who of jazz, but this time they come together once again to further refine the potential of the classic jazz trio formation through their long-standing musical friendship.
All three musicians write music for the trio and the forthcoming album, which ranges from quiet, beautiful, balladic jazz to powerful, rock-influenced energetic sub-genres. Blade's creativity blends perfectly with Colley's strong improvisations and Koppel's lyrical saxophone, and the works are held together by three virtuosos who have taken interplay and collective musical dialogue to a new level.
Benjamin Koppel is one of the most awarded musicians of his generation. He has released more than 30 CDs as a bandleader, including

In addition, Colley has a list of releases to his credit as a leader. This includes musicians such as Bill Frisell, Mark Turner, Ralph Alessi and many more.
