KOVIC's debut album "Running Underwater" (24.08.2018) has turned the London music industry upside down. When the record broke the 6 million mark at Spotify alone, the first major labels didn't take long to wait and knocked on the door of the half-English, half-Serbian musician Mark Kovic - just to get a "no".
"I have a strong feeling we're heading into the golden age of music, where opportunities for independent artists have never been better. I get an indescribable buzz with every win our team makes, knowing we have full control of our destiny"
The album was largely written and produced by Jonny Coffer (Beyoncé, Emile Sandé) together with one of Britain's most successful songwriters - Jamie Scott (Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran) - as well as the first single "Drown", which made it onto the FIFA18soundtrack and various Top50 viral playlists on Spotify. With the following singles, KOVIC was not only placed in various European New Music Friday playlists, but also got great support from the biggest British radio station BBC, who invited him to the Royal Albert Hall for a show at BBC Introducing.
