In April 2021, the Oxford four-piece released their debut album If You Could Have It All Again to critical acclaim, reaching #2 on the Itunes UK Album Chart and #17 on the Official UK Album Sales Chart.
The album has been praised by KCRW, Paste, The Line of Best Fit and Zane Lowe of Apple Music. Lowe, who described the band's "incredible...soulful, intellectual creativity". They played live streams for Bandsintown and Amazon Music and were featured by Double J in Australia Double J in Australia and on NPR's New Music Friday. Unable to play Pandemic live due to the pandemic, the band performed live streams for platforms such as Bandsintown and Amazon Music.
Released on their own record label Emotional Interference, If You Could Have It All Again takes stock of their 20s, which were marked by false starts, heartbreak, and cyclical conflict, and blazes a trail toward a better decade. Formed in 2016, the band themselves have released a handful of highly acclaimed EPs in the last four years, with the regal pop sensibilities of recent Radiohead and the buoyant of LCD Soundsystem and Talking Heads represented by the likes of Double J, Radiohead's Phil Selway, Peter Gabriel, BBC's Radio1, 6music and Germany's Rolling Stone Rolling Stone and also count Dayglow and Glass Animals among their fans. Independent and born out of a shared musical upbringing that includes jazz, indie, jazz, indie, classical and dance music, their soundtrack to the 20s is one of romantic and professional failure; melancholic but quietly optimistic.
