The Devolution Tour
The singer-songwriter, who lives in Brooklyn, New York, released her long-awaited second album "Devotion" with which they will also go to Cologne in September, Munich, Berlin and Hamburg.
The last time Margaret Glaspy was seen live in Germany was in 2016. Since then she has toured for almost three years with her debut album "Emotions", released in the same year and Math" and the 2018 EP "Born Yesterday". On her second work she developed away from the bluesy folk sound and presents more poppy, rhythmically captivating melodies, lush arrangements and haunting electronic accents, combined with her witty songwriting. It's no longer primarily about to be self-righteous or omniscient, but to be open to love, even if you doesn't know what's gonna happen.
Glaspy has already toured North America, Europe, China and Australia and accompanied bands like The Lumineers or, in this country, BOY as support and convinced with their emotional and inspiring shows. In late summer the artist will be coming to four years back to Germany as well.
