Earlier this year, she performed at the David Murray Quartet's sold-out concert at the Stadtgarten, and now we have invited her to perform with her own trio: Pianist and composer Marta Sánchez, born and raised in Madrid, is an active force in New York City's contemporary creative music scene and beyond. Her innovative and original compositions have earned her a significant international following and widespread recognition. With Perpetual Void, she presents her first trio album on Intakt Records. Sanchez, currently a member of the David Murray Quartet, writes captivating compositions for this impressive trio in which all three personalities shine.
