Mathieu Clement 6tet: "Ruma"
Ruma, the third album by Luxembourg drummer Mathieu Clement, who currently lives in Cologne, was released on May 30. Before Mathieu moves to New York in August to start his master's degree there, he will be inviting guests to JAKI on June 27 to present the release of the album and the new program Ruma. The Mathieu Clement 6tet received the Young Munich Jazz Award 2024, the band impressed with its compositions, its gripping energy and particularly well-coordinated interplay. Jakob Bänsch, Julius van Rhee and Victor Fox form the frontline, which is fronted by Leon Hattori, Jakob Jäger and Mathieu Clement.
