Some people simply don't need a plan B - this also applies to the 22-year-old Danish singer-songwriter NICKLAS SAHL. Everything he did in his life, he did for his big dream: from the shameless theft of his sister's toy guitar at the age of just four, to his later solo trip through Denmark. "Music has always been my number one priority," he explains. "The determination and passion that NICKLAS SAHL has for music can be clearly seen in his five-track debut EP "Planets", which he expanded in 2019 with four acoustic versions as well as the song "I Killed Your Night" and released a second time. Already after the first release the single "Hero" rose to number 1 in the Danish charts, his following single "New Eyes" brought him more than 10 million streams and a gold award.
Sahl himself describes his music as "pop music with a hint of Nordic melancholy and a love of experimentation. Inspired by the classic singer-songwriter feeling of his former heroes James Taylor and Paul Simon and inspired by pop pioneers such as Bon Iver and Francis and the Lights, his music is as timeless as it is varied. The aim: to create whole works of art for the heart and mind from many emotions, which tell the story of old school with modern pop clubs. Soon the Danish singer/songwriter NICKLAS SAHL will also be seen in Germany when he accompanies Tina Dico on her Fastland tour in spring 2020 and finally starts his first headliner tour in Germany in April. Further support in autumn 2019 will be announced in late summer.
