Before the sun goes down, the Night of Surprise program starts in the afternoon in the Christuskirche. The austere, modernist architecture of the church built at the end of the 19th century provides an impressive acoustic and visual setting - for the condensed miniatures by Donatienne Michel-Dansac & Igor Semenoff, the archaeological-futuristic research of Lukas De Clerck, the tectonic shifts of John McCowen & Madison Greenstone and the sound-image collisions of Stian Westerhus & Frieder Weiss.
