NORLYZ feat. Malika Alaoui

NORLYZ combine the energy of electronic club music with the warmth and expressiveness of acoustic instruments. Moving between driving grooves, cinematic soundscapes, and improvisational freedom, the Berlin-based quartet creates music that defies stylistic categorization and opens up worlds of its own. Inspired by techno, jazz, and global sounds, they create pieces full of movement, depth, and atmosphere—sometimes hypnotic and danceable, sometimes expansive, fragile, and almost cinematic.

With their second album, set to be released on CD and vinyl in the fall of 2026, NORLYZ embark on the next chapter of their sonic journey. The band’s sound has audibly evolved over the past few years: more playful, multi-layered, and at the same time more focused. The new compositions delve deeper into a cosmos of resonance, contrasts, and unexpected twists. Darker and more multifaceted than on their debut album “First Dawn On Planet B.”, they create musical landscapes in which electronic precision and acoustic vitality blend together in a unique way.

The album is enriched by guest appearances from the Swiss-Moroccan singer Malika Alaoui (formerly of Cirque du Soleil), whose expressive and distinctive voice already left its mark on their joint EP “Aurora Ritual”, as well as Iranian musician Elshan Ghasimi.

Since its founding, the band has performed at festivals such as Fusion, Elbjazz, 3000Grad, Detect Classic, and the Windcraft Music Fest in Cyprus, as well as at renowned clubs like Sisyphos in Berlin and Knust in Hamburg. On their current release tour, NORLYZ will once again be accompanied by Malika Alaoui.

Together, they create an immersive live experience that blends concert, ritual, and journey—an invitation to immerse yourself in another
world for an evening.
