Ocie Elliott
for the first time on headline tour in Germany
Ocie Elliott write songs that feel alive. Songs that bring together their own memories, experiences and emotions. Songs that mirror their lives together as if projected onto the big screen of an old small town theater. The collaboration of Canadians Jon Middelton and Sierra Lundy begins in cafes on Vancouver Island. There they start playing cover songs together to get used to each other musically and to find out where their common musical path could lead one day. The first EP is released in 2017 and the world takes notice of Ocie Elliott.
Their songs are played in series like "Grey's Anatomy", "Batwoman" or "Sweet Magnolias". On Spotify alone, the band now has more than two million monthly listeners. To go along with that, they've received a JUNO Award nomination and acclaim from American Songwriter, CBC, PopMatters and many other blogs and music media outlets.Periodically since then, Ocie Elliott has been releasing great EPs and singles. From their latest EP "What Remains", the first track has just been released. Ocie Elliott have managed to create their very own musical universe for their listeners. One that is full of love, warmth and magic with its finely spun melodies.
