Oscar Jerome kommt mit neuem Album „Breathe Deep“ auf Tour

After numerous singles like "Do You Really" or "Give Back What You Stole From Me" the young London Oscar Jerome finally released his debut album this summer.
It is called "Breathe Deep" and according to Jerome is a "very multi-faceted representation of my musical career". He recently revealed this to the British magazine "Clash".
And the career of the young Brit with the smooth voice is indeed exciting. Jerome studied jazz and classical guitar, but learned his art mainly in the young and diverse jazz scene of London, where this traditional genre is being dusted off in many corners. His single "Your Saint" also gives us great expectations: the highly political piece takes a look at the paths of Syrian refugees and Europe's double standards in the refugee crisis. He recorded the song with members of his Afrobeat band Kokoroko and the rapper Brother Portrait. Also "Sun For Someone", the first single release, is a shimmering, atmospheric jazz soul-funk-pop bastard with heart and attitude.
The album was released in July 2020.
