Ausverkauft: Paul Heller invites Simon Oslender, Bruno Müller, Thomas Stieger & Felix Lehrmann – „Super Groove“

"Super Groove" with an absolute shooting star of the European jazz scene: even at a very young age, pianist, organist and keyboardist Simon Oslender impressed audiences with his mature playing and his sensational sense of musical timing, rhythmic flexibility and smooth phrasing. Oslender has worked with heavyweights such as drummer Wolfgang Haffner, saxophonist Bill Evans, bassist Dieter Ilg, singer Thomas Quasthoff and the WDR Big Band, and on his current album "All that Matters" he also plays with drumming legend Steve Gadd. And now Simon Oslender, who was awarded this year's prestigious WDR Jazz Prize, is a guest of Paul Heller, who has an absolute all-star band at his side with Bruno Müller, Thomas Stieger, Felix Lehrmann and himself. The fact that Oslender is not only a gifted groove master, but also a mature pianist following in the footsteps of his former mentor Frank Chastenier, is proven not least by his sensitive and empathetic ballad playing with the great singer Anna-Marija Kleimann, who Paul Heller has of course invited as a special guest.
