Pomplamoose

European Premiere

Since 2008, indie pop duo Pomplamoose (Jack Conte & Nataly Dawn) have been inviting viewers behind the scenes to witness the recording process. The band's DIY attitude, split-screen music videos and live studio sessions have inspired generations of independent artists. Over the past three years, Pomplamoose has shared the making of Photogénique, a lush and groovy French bossa-pop album produced by Jeremy Most (Emily King), Conte and Philip Etherington (Lizzy McAlpine). The album tells a romantic, playful and deeply nostalgic coming-of-age story rooted in Dawn's childhood memories of France and Belgium. Collaborations include legendary jazz organist Larry Goldings and French singer-songwriter Laura Cahen. Photogénique was released on July 16, 2025 with a release party at El Rey in Los Angeles and two sold-out evenings at Le Bal Blomet in Paris. Following the deluxe version of the album in summer 2026, the band will go on tour in the most important markets in the USA and Europe.
