Releasekonzert „BATHING IN FLOWERS“ (enja & yellowbird records)

Energy, enthusiasm, expertise. SALOMEA draws influences from the mainstream, combines them with the freedom of improvisation and finally frames them into unconventional compositional structures. In constant development with her long-time band colleagues Yannis Anft (keys), Oliver Lutz (bass) and Leif Berger (drums) the German-American Rebekka Salomea creates songs at the ravages of time, formed from eccentric beats, modern sound design and multifaceted vocals. SALOMEA have thus developed a unique sound language that has catapulted them, over the five years of their existence, to the forefront of the popular music avant-garde.

"Infectious freshness and inspiring risk (...) Music that simply makes you dizzy. Ideas and their implementation as if from another universe. (...) Highly intelligent and emotionally touching. The formation moves between extremes and creates a remarkable balance." cult plot
"Rebekka Salomea is highly praised by the critics, the band oscillates between pop and experiment, earthed by a driving groove, led by her extensive, precise and warm voice. Rp online
