Scott Matthew

The gifted song poet Scott Matthew has been making a name for himself since his self-titled debut in 2008 with his
five solo albums to date, has earned the highest respect from both critics and fans alike. The
native Australians writes and sings of the longing for and disappearance of love like hardly anyone else
otherwise - always deeply empathetic, touchingly arranging and in your very own style.
Just in time for the 1st Advent Scott Matthew will release a 2-track single with two tracks on November 29th.
Christmas classics, which he interprets together with his Australian colleague Sia, and which are
in the first place. While the duet "Baby It's Cold Outside" is one of his absolute favorites,
"Silent Night" came into being rather by chance - but it fits as a spartanly orchestrated Christmas ballad with
Guitar, ukulele and small bells are all wonderful in the contemplative Advent season.
When you see Scott Matthew live, you're usually strangely moved. Scott's suffering to song, he's undressing his guts
in front of the audience. He lets the listeners participate, participate, become part of something special. Scott
Matthew is deeply touched, the intensity of his singing is always direct and often wonderful.
