Scott McLemore ’The Multiverse’
“The Multiverse” is the 3rd album by Scott McLemore, an American drummer based in Iceland. Originally inspired by his encounters with the late John Abercrombie, the album revolves around the guitar featuring a multi-national quartet of two guitars, bass and drums. The music is full of melancholy, drama, joy and hope… as in the piece “Above the Horizon” which he penned after spending 13 winters in Iceland, holding out hope of seeing the January sun.
Having performed in Germany on countless occasions as a sideman with Sunna Gunnlaugs Trio and in collaborative projects (such as Angelika Neiscier/Broken Cycle) here McLemore launches his first tour as a leader at Stadtgarten in Cologne with a multi-national quartet representing the US, Iceland, France and the Czech Republic.
Scott McLemore (drums), Hilmar Jensson (guitar), David Doruzka (guitar), Nicolas Moreaux (bass)
