In the Muppet Show, "The Animal" sits on the drums. That's a pretty good representation of the common view of this instrument. Today, however, we have invited two representatives of the "shooting gallery" who have something to counter this cliché. Arne Zank has been revolutionizing the image of the drummer since the early days of his band Tocotronic in the 90s. Hannah Meyer-Oelding plays in the Cologne/Neuwied punk sensation BSK and has her very own relationship to the drums. But of course we will also use the visit to talk to our guests about much more than just drumming. Arne Zank, for example, is a visual artist, comic artist and known for his wacky solo work. Hannah Meyer-Oelding talks about what it's like when your own band suddenly passes insider tip status and how to deal with the culture war that also prevails in punk.
