Teitur – „Home“ Tour 2020
The singer-songwriter, composer and producerTEITUR, who comes from the wild and weather-beaten Faroe Islands, has set himself a clear goal with his musical work: to give his audience a piece of himself and to penetrate directly into the thoughts of his fans with his soulful songs. With his debut album "Poetry & Aeroplanes" he not only made it in their minds, but also deep into their hearts and climbed directly to number 1 in the iTunes charts. His artist colleagues also appreciate his exceptional talent, so that he has already collaborated with greats such as Seal, Corinne Bailey Rae or the Neo-Classic wunderkind NicoMuhly and not least on Judith Holofern's last album "Ich bin das Chaos". He recorded his ninth studio album "I Want To Be Kind", highly praised by the critics, with Thomas BartlettakaDovemoan, who otherwise collaborates with absolute songwriter icons such as SufjanStevens or Martha Wainwright. But in generalTEITUR has long since reached international proportions for the fact that he comes from tiny islands, and that only through the power of his music: "It's the little things ("I Enjoy The Little Things") that make TEITURSMusik and the entire album so special - right up to the friendly conclusion with "I Have Found My Happiness". A thoroughly strong work" (pencil dryer).
Two Danish Music Awards and over 1000 concerts played later, TEITUR will start his world tour with the title "Home" in Germany on 10 March2020. The tour is named after one of his last songs in which he sings: "At home is the place where I have been and where I want to go. At home, I'll always feel at home. By sharing his songs on tour, he invites his fans into his personal home and creates a common retreat for a few hours, where his music and the resulting emotions are at the forefront.
An event of a.s.s. concerts.
