The royal house on the Rhine is a hive of activity - everything is going haywire. It's time to take a break again in Casanova's seductive (city, er) pleasure garden, in the secret gardens of Cologne's joie de vivre, where stories and encounters interweave as if by magic. Who will we meet there this time?

We invite you to be part of this glamorous spectacle on March 1. Under the sublime motto "The Grand Royals Show", we will celebrate carnival with royal splendor and the carefree lightness of the Rhineland. Or will there even be a rebellious peasant uprising?

In the elegant Buckingham's Ballroom, the royal dancers shake their feet to the beat of joy, while in Marie Antoinette's Banqueting Hall, royal delicacies enchant the palate. In the "Labyrinth of Versailles", you can lose yourself in a playful maze of glitz and glamor - always accompanied by a delicious drink to show you the way.

Our motto? "Let Them Drink Kölsch!" So grab your finest costumes, bring a good dose of Cologne joie de vivre and bathe in the scent of 4711. Let's party like Louis XIV would have done in Cologne. Alaaf and vive la fête!

Here is our request for costume selection:
There is no place for racism, sexism and other discriminatory attitudes with us. We therefore ask you to refrain from discriminatory disguises and costumes.
We would also like you to refrain from wearing military costumes that glorify violence and/or war.
The theme is royals - we look forward to your ideas!

We will also have a support and awareness team on duty every day to look after your well-being if necessary. Our staff will be clearly visible and available at all times in a permanent hut on the site and on the move.
