The Twit 1, II, Three is a Cologne-based band consisting of producer Twit One, vibraphonist Maxime von Koblinski, and drummer Niklas Schneider (Keshavara).
Twit One has been shaping the Cologne beat and hip-hop scene for more than 15 years. As a DJ, producer, radio host, and co-owner of the Groove Attack Record Store, Twit views hip-hop less as a genre and more as an attitude and cultural practice, rooted in African-American music history. With The Twit 1, II, Three, he is realizing his sonic vision in a band context for the first time.
Their debut album is set to be released in October 2026 on Melting Pot Music. Recorded at Satori Studio in Müngersdorf, it features a unique blend of hip-hop, Krautrock, Tropicalia, spiritual jazz, and ambient.
In 2024, The Twit 1, II, Three independently released a C20 cassette limited to 100 copies and performed at venues including the Week-EndFest, the Philharmonie Essen, and De Duivel in Amsterdam.
The opening act will be Cologne-based old-school R&B / neo-soul singer Louie Chur.
