un.procedure, consisting of pianist and synth player Piera Onacko, drummer and electronic artist Nathan Jones, and alto saxophonist Cassie Kinoshi (Seed., Kokoroko), is committed to an experimental electronic sound aesthetic of jazz.
The trio delivers a wild collision of free improvisations in a bed of '70s rock-influenced grooves and heady, sci-fi tinged soundscapes. After a year of acclaimed performances - including Supersonic Festival, Enjoy Jazz Festival, Symphony Hall, and the release of their EP - the band is looking to the future with a debut album in their sights.
