Wolfgang Haffner & Band ›Live 2020‹

Wolfgang Haffner im Frühjahr mit neuer Live-Band auf großer Deutschlandtournee ›Kind Of Tango‹, dritter Teil seiner Album-Trilogie erscheint Ende Februar

Wolfgang Haffner is an excellent, even a gifted drummer, that is not only known in the jazz world. Numerous prominent collaborations with a wide variety of artists* and bands in which the Franconian musician has left his mark - nationally and internationally - speak for themselves and the trophy shelf is also filling up with awards and prizes. He is praised and revered for his incredible technical brilliance and his ingenious musicality, which is particularly evident in his own compositions and projects.Mit with his albums under his own name Haffner belongs today to the most successful German jazz musicians and bandleaders. He is an outstanding master in creating and passing on moods, taking the listener on a journey into his sound worlds.
This is also what you can expect from his latest project entitled 'Kind Of Tango' (release date: 28.02.2020), the last part of his trilogy with acoustic band. Their first two parts 'Kind Of Cool' (2015) with 50s Jazz and Bop excursions and 'Kind Of Spain' (2017), where traditional Spanish music meets Jazz, have already been released with great success on the ACT label. With 'Kind Of Spain' he also toured Europe, Asia and Africa for more than two years.Im In spring 2020 Wolfgang Haffner will go on an extensive tour of Germany with his new live band. The young keyboard talent Simon Oslender, who has been a regular member of Haffner's line-up since 2018, will also be there. For the first time in his line-up the name of the Munich singer Alma Naidu appears. Vibraphonist Christopher Dell, who also participated in the album line-ups of his 'Kind Of' trilogy, and bassist Claus Fischer complete the Haffner Quintet. Eine Event organized by Karsten Jahnke Konzertdirektion GmbH.
