Wukan

Always searching, never arriving is Wukan - an ambitious and captivating musical project from the vibrant city of Cologne. Founded by guitarist, singer and producer Simon Bahr, Wukan has developed through ups and downs into a band in the postmodern sense. Together with Leon Raum/Konrad Matheus on drums, Helge Klein on bass and Armin Mey on keys and synthesizer, a deep reverence for reduced, essential grooves is at the heart of their musical identity.

Alternative R&B/soul, jazz and indie blend to create a sound that is both accessible and surprising. With her love for honest melodies, sometimes simple, sometimes more complex grooves and authentic textures, her music invites one thing above all: to be felt.
