zamus: early music festival

It has long since become a tradition at the zamus: early music festival: the concert marathon, which invites everyone from young to old to experience early music in a new way. This time, after the children's concert in the Ehrenfeld community center, it will take place in the Stadtgarten on the Sunday of the festival.
Following last year's fantastic premiere, the three concerts in the hall and the Green Room will once again be followed by a historical dance ball as a festive highlight, where everyone is invited to dance along. Costumes are not a must, but are very welcome!

The concerts:
13:30 - 14:30 - Oriental Echo - Echoes of Heritage - Green Room
From ancient sacred chants to contemporary songs
Explore the spiritual soundscape of the Middle East: Christian hymns, traditional chants and contemporary works with songs in Arabic and Aramaic.

15:00 - 16:00 - Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla and Sigrid T'Hooft - The Dreams of Aeneas - Concert Hall
Staged concert
The art of ancient rhetoric meets the art of the Baroque: the Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla and Latin students from Cologne share the stage to texts from Virgil's "Aeneid" and music by Rebel, Irribarren and Duròn.

16:30 - 17:30 - Anastasiia Kolabanova and zamus: amateur baroque orchestra - Oh lovely peace Concert hall
