After Showcase appearances at the Reeperbahn Festival, the Eurosonic and the Great Escape, Blanco White will tour in October this year and play four concerts in Hamburg, Munich, Berlin and Cologne.

Blanco White was launched in 2014 as a solo project by London-based Josh Edwards. After his guitar studies in Cádiz (Spain), he acquired the Andean instrument Charango in Sucre (Bolivia) with the aim to unite the elements of the Andalusian and Latin American instruments and to combine them with influences of his homeland.
The result is more than exotic, it's unique. At the beginning of 2016 he released his self-produced debut EP "The Wind Rose". With "Colder Heavens" and "Nocturne" followed two more EPs with which he reached a large international audience. Singer & songwriter lyrics à la Damien Rice, Edwards rough voice, the combination of Andalusian and Latin American flair and a hint of folk make Blanco White's emotional songs extraordinary pieces. On the upcoming tour he will also present new song material from his debut album, which will be released this year on Yucatan Records.
