Christina Lux & Oliver George

Christina Lux has been on stage for 40 years now and has been touring with her own music for 26 years. A great guitarist with a great groove, subtle lyrics and that special voice with which she fills spaces and tells her stories sometimes very delicately and then again wonderfully powerfully. For the last 10 years, Oliver George has been refining the songs on guitar, vocals and drums with a fine feel for sounds and arrangements. The two of them sound like a big band, only to play a deeply moving, quiet song the next moment with just two guitars and their voices. Their concerts are real rays of hope in turbulent times.

In October 2023, they released their latest album Live deLUXe, which was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award. This great familiarity resonates in all the songs, which sometimes open up quietly and intimately, but also explode with an energy that you wouldn't expect from a duo, writes Stereo magazine. Christina Lux & Oliver George played together in a rock band back in 1983. They met again in 2013 and began writing and playing together in the following years. The two have also been touring together since 2017. Their first album together, LEISE BILDER, was released in 2018 and won the German Record Critics' Award. It was also Christina Lux's first entirely German-language album. The second joint studio album LICHTBLICKE was released in 2021.
