Fazer are back with roaring engines on their fourth studio album Yamaha.
The Munich musicians roar through indie, jazz and psychedelic rock, always with deliberate restraint so that they can shift up a gear live. The band's line-up with two drums, described by Mojo magazine as a "well-oiled machine", was souped up in the studio with trombones, acoustic guitars and various percussions. The band is always interested in playing with expectations, regardless of whether they are broken or fulfilled. The melancholy, catchy melodies are still carried by trumpet and guitar, while the drum grooves on the new album are more of a rock jargon.
