Verstehen Sie? - Disput im Stadtgarten
Gemeinwohl-Ökonomie (GWÖ): Kann die Wirtschaft die Erde retten?“
Climate change, species extinction, scarcity of resources - humanity's careless treatment of our planet Earth is painfully demonstrated by Earth Overshoot Day. On August 2, 2024, all sustainably usable resources that the Earth's ecosystem can produce and regenerate within a year will be used up worldwide (Germany on May 2, 2024).
How can we stop this fatal development and, above all, what role does the economy play in this? Can the ECG provide an answer? It has developed the foundations for an ethical economic system that is also committed to sustainability and respect for planetary boundaries.
There are numerous companies in Cologne / Rhineland that work successfully for the common good.
Keynote speech: Anne Berg, Conscious Change, cert. GWÖ consultant.
In the panel discussion, experts from science, business and politics will address the question of what contribution companies can make to restoring the earth's regenerative power.
Let yourself be inspired and join in the discussion about what an economy oriented towards the common good can achieve.
