A new and exciting quintet by the legendary pianist and composer Aki Takase, which shows that jazz has lost nothing of its dynamism, joy of playing and fun.

Mit to her young colleague Daniel Erdmann on saxophone, DJ Illvibe aka Vincent von Schlippenbach on turntables (producer of Seeed, Peter Fox, Marteria, etc), Johannes Fink on bass (Joachim and Rolf Kühn, etc) and Dag Magnus Narvesen on drums (Kitchen Orchestra) she has brought profound and experimental musicians to her side to travel new musical worlds.

Kein "funny smelling jazz", but a "tour de force" with new and exciting compositions in which everyone contributed something. Since the award-winning "New Blues Quintet" this new formation around Aki Takase is finally a worthy successor - with jazz that appeals to all generations and teaches many a young band to fear.
