Kapelle 17 releases their debut album "Die Wolken sind da wo sie immer sind" after four years of existence: texturally and rhythmically diverse jazz music of the young generation. The band with musicians from Berlin, Cologne, Leipzig and New York has been performing together on stages in and around Germany for four years.

On their debut album "Die Wolken sind dort wo sie immer sind" (The clouds are where they always are), influences from classical jazz, the improvised avant-garde of the 60s, new wave music and underground hip-hop are mixed in a fusion of five personalities. A small idea becomes a song in the collective. The spectrum of the compositions ranges from polyrhythmic grooves to clear song forms to dawning landscape improvisations.

The band delivers a fresh, exciting energy to the audience with electrifying grooves and lively interplay for a diverse listening experience.
