Written while touring Australia, Nathan sought to capture the spirit of life on the road and found inspiration in the long dusty roads, life on the move, new people, new faces and new spaces. He reveals, "It's an adaptation of the story of Icarus, who ignores advice and flies too close to the sun, leading to his demise. It's a love song about growing up, about dreaming your life away and enjoying the innocent beauty of young love, only to be brought back down to earth and its reality."
